Tucked away spot - quite pleasant

Enter Canal Sur in the center south of the bay ( about 1/3 from the south )  you can also use the Canal Norte to enter ( shallower )

Portobelo was founded in 1597 by Spanish explorer Francisco Velarde y Mercado and was an important silver-exporting port on the Spanish Main and one of the ports on the route of the Spanish treasure fleets. The Spanish built defensive fortifications. Privateer William Parker attacked and captured the city in 1601 and Captain Henry Morgan repeated the feat in 1668.

Hienghene got our attention, steals your heart, and I actually went on a 3-hour walk in the hills.

Easy bay mostly mud - wind whips around so add scope - quite shallow overall - no swell
